Valderrobles Clasico
Wine Reviews — By DiegoM on March 28, 2010 at 1:40 amIt’s obvious that this is a house wine, from its price. However, when you drink it, you will find it’s a great value, and worth more that the price. The Valderrobles line offers some great wines for a very low price, and the Valderrobles Chablis even made the Expose “Best Wines for Under 10 pesos.” The clasico is a light, well-balanced wine with nice acidity. This is a dry wine with flavors of honey, pineapple, and a lengthy lemon drop finish. The only downside is a slight bitter aftertaste, but for $7.50, this is a great table wine. Perfect for Monday night, Tuesday night Wednesday night, or any night you feel like a pleasant, good-valued wine.
