My Favorite Happy Hour in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires has plenty of great happy hours – usually, it involves cocktails that are 2 for 1, or significantly cheaper than normal. Definitely worth taking advantage of, when you consider that these drinks normally cost $25 pesos.
My personal favorite: Benihana. I´m not usually a fan of going to big US chains while living in Buenos Aires, but I must say that Benihana is an exception. Their happy hour includes a number of small food items that cost between $10 and $22 pesos – chicken wings, Hibachi Chicken Rice, sushi, tempura, and chicken skewers, just to name a few. The food is excellent…..but the cocktails are even better.
Their veeeery tasty signature cocktails go for only $12-$14 pesos each. A few options include the Benihana Mojito (made with sake and rum) Berry Mojitos (made with mixed berries and mint leaves), a maracuya margarita, or the Benitini (also made with maracuya, vodka, and a Japanese vodka-like licor). You can also buy good wine for $9 pesos a glass, and the glass comes VERY full.
The Benihana happy hour is available every day from 16h-20h. O, and don´t plan anything too important afterwards, it’s difficult to leave their sober…
