Bicentennial Flamenco Fair
Upcoming Events — By DiegoM on March 26, 2010 at 3:32 pmIf you are at all interested in flamenco music, dancing, or the Andalusia culture, you may want to add this event to your calendar. Taking place at Tattersall De Palermo is the Bicentennial Flamenco Fair, an event made up of Flamenco music and Andalusia culture.
The event’s main highlight will be the performances by some of flamenco´s top artists, such as Diego Amador, Carmen La Talegona, Miguel Rivera, Oscar del los Reyes, Mario Díaz, Pilar Távora and Héctor Romero. Ticket prices range from $80 to $240 pesos, but this also includes access to the Flamenco Fair, which is a $50 peso value. It would be a good idea to book these in advance, as some of the shows will likely sell-out. Prices and availability can be found at Ticket Portal.
Although the shows should be amazing, they are not the only reason to attend the fair. Other attractions include flamenco films, a section with Andalucía gastronomy, photographs and tourism information. There will also be flamenco dance, percussion and guitar workshops, some of them put on by the artists themselves.
This promises to be a great cultural event, one we are certainly excited to go to. Find out more information at:
